The remembrance committee of the Saffré maquis has permanently set up a memory path in the alley leading to the monument to the memory of the 27 executed at La Bouvardière on June 29, 1944. These different panels with a memorial purpose recount the sequence of dramatic events that occurred on June 28 and 29, when 300 young maquis waited for the delivery of weapons from the allied forces.
